Disclaimer: I utilize the Mythic Game Master Emulator (Mythic or Mythic GME) as well as The Solo Adventurer's Toolbox 1&2 (TSAT) & the Solo Wilderness Crawler (SWC) to supplement the adventure and build the terrain. I prepared little outside of the game world I already created, basic hex maps, and some lore that was already written from previous adventures. I will leave links to their respective links to support the authors at the end of this post. I encourage giving them a look!
Every good adventure has a background and every background provides a beginning quest (or as I will sometimes refer to them as "threads"), so let us begin!
Adventure Background:
Denckash decides to leave the safehouse he is staying at in Lapoach and head east to the borders of the Province of Susshannah.
First scene setup:
I am going to roll on the Event Focus Table in Mythic, as well as the Actions & Subject tables to interpret the event
Random Event: d100=46, Move Away from Thread
Awesome, great start, since I only have one thread (Explore the province of Susshannah). Welp, maybe it won't be that bad...
2d100= 90 & 91 for action/subject: Failure/Weapons
Lovely! But I got this!
Denckash awoke later in the morning than he wanted to, he anticipated and early start to explore the whole of the province of Susshannah. He grabbed his belongings, packed some rations and left the safehouse discreetly. He didn't feel discretion was really needed in Lapoach, they were settled in a quarter of mixed races so his appearance really didn't draw attention. However, old habits die hard and it wouldn't hurt to not break the cycle. Instead of taking the straight path, he chose to go the long way to the gate. It helped him avoid a pattern and it would give him a chance to familiarize himself with the city if he planned on smuggling anything in. He walked for about 30 minutes before coming to the gate, it was 8:30 in the morning, his belly was full of vittles and he was ready to set off. He gave his gear a good check. It was then he realized he forgot his scimitar. He could us his staff but he needed something more for protection if he were to face the wilds. He had no choice but to turn around and walk back to the safehouse to retrieve the sword.
Damnit…, he thought to himself as he turned around and began back.
Well, that was interesting. Began my journey and didn't even get to make the first step.

There it is, our initial scene. I was hoping for a simple start, ya know. Just leave the city of Lapoach (map below) and start exploring. The chaos of Mythic had other plans for me, it seems. I can only imagine the nonsense ahead of me as I walk back to the safehouse in the docks district, then out the gate once more.
